Milton is a town in Southern Ontario in the Greater Toronto Area. Between 2001 and 2011, Milton was the fastest-growing municipality in Canada and now has a population of more than 132,979 people. The town of Milton is on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment and has many conservation areas, including Rattlesnake Point, Crawford Lake, Hilton Falls, and Kelso Conservation Area. They also have a few must-visit local farms, such as Springridge, Terre Bleu Lavender, which is Ontario’s largest lavender farm, Andrews’ Scenic Acres, and Chudleigh’s Entertainment Farm. Other than conservation areas or farms, Milton also features the Halton County Radial Railway, Glen Eden ski hill, FirstOntario Arts Centre, and Wildhagen Greenhouses. As for schools, there are 46 public school options in Milton, with over 25 of those being public elementary schools. Besides an immense number of schools, Milton also has about half a dozen recreation or community centers and ten golf courses to play. With several neighbourhoods to choose from, including Coates, Dorset Park, and Harrison, Milton is the perfect place to call home.
